Scott P. Serden, MD is Co-Director of the Center of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also Associate Clinical Professor at the U.C.L.A. Medical School. His primary clinical interests include the management and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding including endometrial ablation and other aspects of both hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery.
 
 

Throughout his career, Dr. Serden's studies have been published in numerous peer-reviewed articles including: Contemporary Ob/Gyn, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Journal of Reproductive Medicine, and Journal of Endoscopic Surgery. He has also authored or co-authored multiple book chapters pertaining to his work.

Dr. Serden received his bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University and his medical degree from the New York Medical College. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Ob/Gyn, is a fellow of the American College of Ob/Gyn, and is a member of both the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American Medical Association. He has served as teaching faculty at many post-graduate courses and training programs over the last 20 years.
